First Home Plus calculator

First Home Plus scheme provides exemptions or concessions on transfer and mortgage duty for first home buyers in NSW. The First Home Plus One scheme allows first home buyers to purchase property with other parties and still receive a concession.

From 1 September 2007, mortgage duty was abolished on loans connected with owner occupied housing. As a result, duty is not chargeable on most mortgages associated with an eligible First Home Plus Agreement. Read more.

First Home Plus mortgages are liable to duty if:

  1. the purpose of advance is not for owner occupied housing (eg investment housing) or
  2. a First Home Plus equity partner is not a natural person (eg company). Read more.
